A1: First, the whole long arm is lengthening, but the boom is just lengthening from its middle sleeve to its end, so the original boom and stick cylinder can be used. Second, using the original parts can save you costs.
Q2: How long will it takes to install an excavator telescopic boom?
It depends on the installer and machine size.
Usually disconnect the original boom arm, stick cylinder, then pin the new one is okay.
